• created RKanban to generate cumulative flow diagrams, run time & lead time distribution charts
• worked on a tool chain to prioritise product backlogs with monte carlo simulations
• been founding member of the GeneSEZ project
• organized the Agile Saxony group for a while
• contributed more than 80 ports to FreeBSD
• been openSUSE member and contributed a number of packages
• worked for a number of years for the Kyrgyz-German Faculty of Applied Informatics in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
• worked for 3 month with Ugaprivi & Diamond ICT in Kampala, Uganda
• been administrator for herr-der-ringe-film.de for 10 years
• wrote for the student’s newspaper Reisszwigge
• founded the school newspaper BUMMI at Diesterweg Gymnasium
